These diagnostic slides are TEFLON® printed slides for use with microscopes with fluorescent light or normal light microscope. The high quality of our diagnostic slides is due to 2 main properties.

  1. The extreme hydrophobic TEFLON® printing which results in:
      • No cross-contamination;
      • Increased well capacity.
  1. The perfect wettable well surface which results in:
      • Enhanced cell attachment;
      • A homogeneous spreading of the antigens within the well.

Hydrophobicity and wettability can be measured by the contact angle that a drop of water makes with the surface. The value of the contact angle δ is between 0o and 180o.

The value of the contact angle δ on our diagnostic slides is:

On the hydrophobic TEFLON® printing δ = 155o
On the wettable well surface δ = 8o

All our diagnostic slides are printed on first quality microscopic slides 76 x 26 mm. All standard executions are printed with BLACK TEFLON® on slides with 90o ground edges, with or without frosted end (depending on the printed design). Packing: 100 slides per box.  "Special executions" like other colours or custom-made slides can be supplied on request, minimal order 2000 slides.
