The LATEX plate which is the working field for the test, is crucial part of the test. The quality of the plate determines the visibility of the test results.

There are 2 basic requirements for a Latex plate:

  1. The working area needs to be wettable in order to ensure a homogeneous spreading of the liquids.
  2. The border around the working area has to be hydrophobic, in order to avoid cross-contamination.

We offer 2 lines of LATEX plates:

  • Disposable Latex cards (printed on different kinds of materials such as cardboard, laminated cardboard, plastic, embossed cards, etc.).
  • Reusable Latex plates (printed on a glass plate).

We distinguish 2 main types of test cards:

  • Cards with "printed circles": on this type of card the test is done on the "card surface" itself. The card surface has perfect spreading properties.
  • Cards with "printed fields": On this type of card the test is done on the "printed field". These cards have a hydrophobic surface which makes a "no cross-contamination" border between the wells. The printed fields (on which the test is done) have perfect spreading properties.
